GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The competition runs from 29 July 2016 - 31 August 2016
  • Raffle Tickets will be at a cost of R100 per ticket.
  • Students are responsible for the tickets and the value thereof. If a booklet is lost or stolen the student will be held accountable for the full value of the booklet being R1 000
  • There are a total and maximum of 2 500 individual tickets available.
  • Staff and families of Charter College are allowed to enter the raffle competition and will be eligible to win any of the three ticket holder prizes. Only students will be eligible for the prizes for the most tickets sold.
  • GZ & Co being the Auditors will be responsible for the draw. The winners will be announced at the final matric assembly on 23 September 2016
  • You do not have to be present at the final assembly in order to claim your prize.
  • You will be notified on 23 September 2016 by telephone and email from Fercia Weyer (fercia@chartercollege.co.za).
  • The proposed upgrades are subject and not limited to the stipulated items and it is also subject to priority and cash flow.

Ticket Holder Prizes

  • These are the following exciting prizes to be won:
    • 1st Prize: A trip for 2 to Mauritius for 5 days.
    • 2nd Prize: 2 nights away to Dullstroom for 2
    • 3rd Prize: A Soulstice Day Spa voucher to the value of R2 000
  • 1st Prize: Trip to Mauritius
    • The trip to Mauritius includes accommodation at a preselected 3 star plus resort for 2 people for 5 nights.
    • This includes: Breakfast and dinner, flights and airports taxes.
    • All other expenses will be the responsibility of the winner and is not covered in the prize provided by Charter College International High School (Pty.) Ltd.
    • You must be 18 years or older to qualify for this prize.
    • You require a valid passport for all travellers and all cost to obtain a passport will be for the responsibility of the individual person.
    • Travelling needs to take place during February 2017
    • Once notified, the travel agent will contact you directly to finalise your travelling dates. Please note the travel agent will try her utmost best to accommodate your specific travelling dates but it remains subject to the selected resorts and availability. Once confirmed and booked you will be responsible for any additional costs incurred should you change the dates.
  • 2nd Prize: 2 Nights in Dullstroom
    • Includes accommodation for 2 people for 2 nights in Dullstroom.
    • This includes breakfast.
    • Travelling to and from the resort will be at the cost and responsibility of the travellers.
    • You must be 18 years or older to qualify for this prize.
    • Travelling needs to take place during February 2017
    • Once notified, the travel agent will contact you directly to finalise your travelling dates. Please note the travel agent will try her utmost best to accommodate your specific travelling dates but it remains subject to the selected resorts and availability.   • 3rd Prize: Soulstice Spa Voucher
    • This prize is a R2 000 Soulstice Spa voucher at their Silverstar Casino branch only.
    • This voucher is valid for 3 years.
    • This voucher can be used for products/treatments and meals of your choosing.
    • The voucher’s unused value can be carried forward but not redeemed for cash.
    • The voucher is not limited to you only, you are welcome to take a friend or two.

STUDENT PRIZES

  • These are the following exciting prizes to be won:
    • 1st Prize: R2 000
    • 2nd Prize: R1 000
    • 3rd Prize: R500
  • Should there be more than 1 student who sells the most tickets, the following will apply:
    • All students will be entered into a draw for the first prize
    • The students remaining from the first draw will then be entered into a draw with the students who sold the 2nd most tickets.
    • The remaining students will then be entered into a final draw with the students who sold the 3rd most.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Financial records will be kept for all tickets issued and will be available at any time for inspection.
  • A full register of all sold or cancelled tickets will be kept and will be available at any time for inspection.
  • A separate bank account will be opened.
  • A monthly income / expenditure schedule will be prepared and will be available for inspection.
  • Funds not spent before 31 December 2016 will be carried forward to 2017
  • All proceeds must be paid directly to Mrs Weyer.
