During this term the Gr.10's had fun dissecting a pig's heart, the lungs,liver and heart of a sheep and the eyes of a cow. At first the pupils had to get used to the concept but found it fascinating as they got to use their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.

On September 11, 2016, Charter College International High School joined forces with the Angel Network to operate a Street Store in Johannesburg. Students collected clothing for 3 weeks prior to the date, and managed to collect in excess of 30 black bags of clothing and toys.

The aim of the project is for the many less fortunate people to experience shopping by freely browsing and choosing their own items, thus restoring some dignity to their lives.

Most avid readers will know about the author Roald Dahl, who produced fantastic works of literature such as ‘The BFG’, ‘Matilda’, ‘The Witches’ and ‘Henry Sugar’.
