The Grade 10, 11 and 12 Business Studies students were treated to a field trip on Friday to South Africa’s financial capital institution, the JSE.
The students were taught various facts and figures about the institution including how to buy, sell and explore stocks and shares.
Several of our students are involved in the Young Entrepreneurs Programme which aims to teach students about how to trade and invest in businesses and companies.
The field trip taught Charter College’s students about the opportunity to learn all about the process of making good investments and begin a good foundation for sound money management. The students were also given a lengthy presentation that aims to expand their knowledge and gain new skills in investing, saving, communication, cooperation, research and decision making.
