Leadership camp 2016 was held on October 13th at Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens. We were very fortunate to have the weather play along, and we could enjoy a typical Summer day in a beautiful setting.
Learners were split into groups to perform various tasks that ranged from brain teasers, to problem solving and even some physical activities. The aim of the tasks is to identify leadership skills in a variety of forms and also to form a closer knit by bonding with peers. Part of the activities included the groups preparing meals with a distinctive theme. All the students did exceptionally well in all the tasks set for them. Both pupils and teachers learned a great deal about themselves, others, problem solving and thoroughly enjoyed a challenging yet satisfying day.
