As always, our netball season started with a bang. Our first netball practise, last week Tuesday, came to a sudden halt when a storm erupted half an hour later. The girls were determined to make this second practise count. They walked onto the court with infectious enthusiasm. After our dynamic warm-up, we focused on a variety of ball skills and finally started playing. For such a small school, Charter College boasts strong netball players and many with unlocked potential. A challenging season lies ahead, but I am confident that they will meet every challenge head on, learn from it and become stronger players, if not stronger individuals because of it. Our first fixture is less than 3 weeks away. Good luck girls. Enjoy every netball moment!
